hcs im too lazy too fully write out just yet: jeff worked hard to be where he was in senior year. diabetes and obesity has run through his family (his grandparents and his aunt), and while he was close to being overweight in his pre-teens, he managed to get himself in shape for the sake of his health. he was always told he deserved the best life, and as jeff aspired to be a baseball player and maybe one day coach little league or something; he worked so hard to get there. he had a good offers to colleges in california and chicago, even Massachusetts. he believed in living every day to the fullest, and seizing opportunities because of the way he was raised.

even more sadness in his verse where he survives: he doesn’t come away scotch free. he has injuries externally and internally. as someone who has also been in a car accident, i can also say based off my own experience, he suffers from bouts of ptsd too, of course. for a while he recuperates in a wheelchair, and has to have a few bolts and rods added to his arm and leg because of the high impact from the collision. it’s an experience that ages him. he loses a bit of his zest for life naturally, and is lost on how to find it again. more to come when i actually write this out tho. his health slips a bit too, so much that his parents begin to worry.
